About Me
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my website! For as long as I can remember, I have loved everything about pictures. I can remember digging through totes of them as a child, looking through the hundreds of memories that were in there. I always had a camera with me throughout my school years and as soon as I was able, I bought my first "big" camera. Once I had children, I knew I was officially obsessed with capturing as many memories as possible. I soon had friends asking me to take some pictures of their children and their families and things quickly escalated from there!
Over the years, I've taken on a large variety of sessions and that has led me to finding my real passion in photography. Family and children sessions will forever hold a special place in my heart as it is so bittersweet how quickly the moments pass us by and if I can capture even just a little bit of your child's sweet personality and the love between your family for you to have forever, then I've done my "job." It is not about forced smiles at the camera, it is about having fun. It's about real life, it's about the silly faces, the crying, the tantrums. The genuine laughter that reaches the eyes. That is my goal.
On a more personal note: I am totally awkward. You will, for SURE, be the best dressed person at your session. I live in leggings and flip flops. I talk too fast when I'm nervous. And it doesn't seem to matter how many sessions I do, I will always be a little bit nervous because I want to deliver the best possible experience I can. I think I'm physically incapable of lying. I hate shoes and rude people. I love my family and they will always come first. I am forever thankful that I am able to do something that I love, but still be around and present in my children's lives. Our life is crazy and it's not always easy to make certain things work and sometimes I don't get to sit down and read messages until 11-12 o'clock at night, but I will do my best to get back to everyone as soon as I possibly can!
